POLinSAR 2015 Objectives
- Provide a forum for scientific exchange
- Present the latest exploitation results from fully polarimetric airborne and spaceborne systems and assess the state-of-the-art
- Support the preparation for ESA fully polarimetric BIOMASS mission
- Present future third party polarimetric missions
- Present the outcomes from ESA POLSARAP project
- Review retrieved bio-geophysical parameters and their accuracy
- Present PI results from ESA/CSA SOAR EU 2 initiative
- Demonstrate benefits of fully polarimetric systems (vs. dual or single polarization)
- Report on progress/status of POLinSAR 2013 recommendations
- Make recommendations for algorithm development, new products, future missions and applications
